DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
The patient came to us seeking to restore her smile and improve her ability to chew food. The bridge prosthesis was constantly falling out during conversation due to the destruction of supporting teeth, forcing the patient to rely on denture adhesive to keep her teeth in place.
RESULTS OF EXAMINATION:
After diagnosing the patient, we discovered that there was damage to the hard tissues and inflammation of the mucous membrane surrounding each tooth. We worked with the patient to select the On-4 treatment technology. Because the patient had a soft type of bone tissue, we decided to conduct implantation using the delayed loading protocol.
PROCEDURE OUTCOME:
Following the diagnosis, a temporary denture was fabricated and placed on the day of extracting all teeth and inserting 4 implants. Once the implants had integrated, a permanent, fixed metal-ceramic prosthesis was installed with screw retention. The patient is thrilled with the outcome of the treatment and can now smile confidently and eat her favorite foods again.
